Comprehensive Estate Planning Packages

Our firm offers comprehensive estate planning packages to ensure that you and your loved ones are protected - no matter what.

What is an Estate Plan?

Imagine having the peace of mind knowing your loved ones are protected, no matter what life throws your way. That's the power of a well-crafted estate plan. It's a personalized set of documents designed to safeguard your assets and ensure your wishes are honored.

At Fortitude Estate Planning, we go beyond generic templates. We take the time to understand your unique goals and financial situation, then tailor a plan that fits you perfectly. This may include a trust, a will, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and more.

We believe estate planning is about more than just documents; it's about planning with purpose. It's about ensuring your legacy reflects your values and provides for the people you care about most.

Our Process

Our highly personalized estate planning process is broken up into manageable steps to ensure our clients have a clear understanding of their estate plan and to ensure that their wishes are properly stated in their plan.

Prepare For Your Design Meeting

To make the most of our design meeting, we'll ask you to complete a brief questionnaire beforehand. This helps us get to know you and your financial picture so we can create a truly personalized estate plan that reflects your unique needs and goals. Think of it as the first step in our collaborative journey!

Your Design Meeting

Our design meeting is a collaborative process where we work together to create an estate plan that truly reflects your wishes. We'll begin by reviewing your current estate plan (if you have one) and discussing how your assets would be distributed today. Then, we'll dive into your goals and explore the best strategies to achieve them. By the end of our meeting, you'll have designed a personalized estate plan to protect your legacy.

04

Drafting Phase

After our design meeting, our office will send a confirmation email to double check the names and contact information of all of the individuals that you have listed in your plan. Once we get the go-ahead, we will start drafting your plan.

Pre-Signing Meeting

Once your estate plan is drafted, we host a zoom meeting with you to go through your documents with you in real time. If there is anything that needs to be changed before you sign your documents, we will do so after that meeting.

06

Signing Session

During your signing session, we will finalize your estate plan with the execution of your documents in front of a notary.

07

Fiduciary Letters

Our office will prepare fiduciary letters to send to the individuals that you have named in your estate plan. This is exceptionally important to ensure that the individuals you've named know what to do in an emergency.

Funding Meeting

A trust that is not properly funded will not work for you when you need it to. This is why I have a funding meeting with all of my clients. During the funding meeting we will go through each of your assets and I will tell you exactly how to transfer them into your trust. I will reach out 60 days after your funding meeting to see if you have transferred all of your assets into your trust.

Yearly Review

Your estate plan will only work if it is kept up to date. Not only is this important to ensure that the individuals you've named are still the ones that you would like to act and to ensure that it is up to date with the law, but this can also prevent conflict between your loved ones after you pass.
