Comprehensive Estate Planning Packages

Our firm offers comprehensive estate planning packages to ensure that you and your loved ones are protected - no matter what.

What is an Estate Plan?

An estate plan is a highly personalized set of documents which will assist your loved ones in the event that something happens to you. Depending upon your goals and your assets, there are different tools and planning techniques that can be helpful to reach those specific goals.

Generally an estate plan consists of the following documents: trust and/or a will, durable power of attorney for financial decisions, advance healthcare directive, HIPAA waiver, final instructions, and, if applicable, guardianship nominations.

Our office will analyze your assets and your goals and determine the planning techniques that will best fit your unique situation. We will then draft an estate plan which specifically suits your needs.

Estate planning is not one size fits all, which is why we take pride in our ability to personalize your plan to best suit your needs and to help you plan with purpose.

Our Process

Our highly personalized estate planning process is broken up into manageable steps to ensure our clients have a clear understanding of their estate plan and to ensure that their wishes are properly stated in their plan.

01

Consultation Call

During this call we will answer preliminary questions to determine if our office is the right fit for your estate planning needs. We will also tell you a little bit about our firm and how we do things differently.

02

Prepare For Your Design Meeting

To prepare for your design meeting, you will complete our questionnaire, which requests a summary of your personal and financial information. This information will assist us in determining how to guide you through the estate planning process.

03

Your Design Meeting

During your design meeting we will review your current estate plan, if you have one, and we will discuss what would happen if you were to pass away today.  At that point we will discuss your assets and your goals and how to achieve your goals, based on your assets and the current plan, or lack thereof that you have in place. From there, we will design a completely unique and personalized estate plan that will help you achieve your goals.

04

Drafting Phase

After our design meeting, our office will send a confirmation email to double check the names and contact information of all of the fiduciaries that you have listed in your plan.

05

Pre-Signing Meeting

Once your estate plan is drafted, we host a zoom meeting with you to go through your documents with you in real time. If there is anything that needs to be changed before you sign your documents, we will do so after that meeting.

06

Signing Session

During your signing session you will execute your estate plan in front of a notary.

07

Fiduciary Letters

Our office will prepare fiduciary letters to send to the individuals that you have named in your estate plan. This is exceptionally important to ensure that the individuals you've named know what to do in an emergency.

08

Funding Meeting

A trust that is not properly funded will not work for you when you need it to. This is why I have a funding meeting with all of my clients. During the funding meeting we will go through each of your assets and I will tell you exactly how to transfer them into your trust. I will reach out 60 days after your funding meeting to see if you have transferred all of your assets into your trust.

Yearly Review

Your estate plan will only work if it is kept up to date. Not only is this important to ensure that the individuals you've named are still the ones that you would like to act and to ensure that it is up to date with the law, but this can also prevent conflict between your loved ones after you pass.
